News Spotlight: Lady CrayCray

Gaga is making people talk about her like usual. She debuted the album cover for "Born This Way" this past weekend and people aren't so impressed. It is very strange, but it never ceases to amaze me that people are shocked when she pulls something.

From Rolling Stone: "Late on Friday night, Lady Gaga tweeted the album cover for her eagerly anticipated new album Born This Way. It seems safe to say that the artwork, which depicts the singer's head and arms merged into the front of a motorcycle, was not anything like what anyone could have imagined. Though some fans assumed that the incredibly bold and silly cover was a joke, Gaga followed that tweet with another that showed her holding a printed copy of the cover, as if to prove that it was real.

Though the response from Gaga's audience has been fairly negative so far, with several fans and detractors rushing to create parody images over the weekend, the badass biker look might make more sense when the album arrives in stores. As Rolling Stone reported in February, a few of the songs confirmed for the record lean hard on huge guitar riffs and heavy metal bluster. This cover may be Gaga's way of letting her fans know that she's embracing the most defiant aspects of rock stardom on this new disc."
