"The Hard Sell" : Taboo In Advertising

Sex sells. A product used in the actual act definitely sells. This Durex ad is actually a throwback. It debuted in 2003 and got banned after three old ladies said it was irresponsible and promoted casual sex. I bet Durex would have a little better luck with this ad is 2010. Seems as though seven years has made a world of difference in our tolerance for blatant sex messages.
