Pretty self explanatory. Russell Brand got arrested for roughing up paparazzi after they attempted to take pictures of Katy Perry's hoo-ha. And she partied hard with Rihanna for her bachelorette party. Crazy kids these days. Not sure I agree with iVillage's "swoon!" reaction though. Especially hard to feel that way for a man who always has the same stupid look on his face (see photo).
"Russell Brand was arrested on Friday afternoon -- but seems like it only made fiancee Katy Perry love him more! The comedian, 35, was arrested for battery after shoving paparazzi out of the way at the Los Angeles International Airport. As MTV News points out, Brand has been arrested 11 times in the past -- but never for physical violence. So what pushed him over the edge this time?
Answer: the photographer was trying to take an upskirt photo of Katy Perry. And, as she tweeted later that day, Perry supports his actions: "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me." In other words, Brand was arrested for defending Katy's honor! Swoon!
Brand was released on $20,000 bail, and Perry proceeded with her weekend plans: A bachelorette party in Vegas, thrown for her by Rihanna! The two pop superstars and a group of friends started the party in the Hard Rock Hotel pool, where Perry wore a bridal veil attached to her bikini." Reported by iVillage.
